About Jillian

Jillian Skara is a performer and theatrical creative based in the DC area. She has graduated with a B.A. Musical Theatre from American University. She started her theatre journey 18 years ago in New Jersey, and has been a lover of the arts ever since.

While she started as an actor, Jillian has delved into music composition, playwriting, directing, and design. While in school, she found a passion for costume design and

When not working on developing her own skills, Jillian loves to help direct students at Traveling Players. She is incredibly thankful to have worked with Jeanne Harrison and the Traveling Players Community for a year.
